Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Narravec. Please read them — they explain what we do, what we ask of you, and what happens if something goes wrong.
1. Who we are
Narravec ("Narravec", "we", "us") is the platform at narravec.com. It is operated by TBD, registered in Malaysia (registration number TBD) (the "Operator"). Narravec is available to business owners and growth partners worldwide. References to "you" mean the person or organisation using the platform.
If you use Narravec on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. Definitions
These words have specific meanings throughout:
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Account | Your registered access to Narravec, in one of the roles below. |
| Business Owner | A user who publishes information about a business they operate. |
| Growth Partner | A user who browses businesses in order to work with, supply, distribute for, support, or acquire one. |
| Listing | The page a Business Owner publishes describing their business. |
| Verification | Our review of documents a Business Owner supplied, as described in the Verification section. |
| Badge | A visual mark shown on a Listing indicating the outcome of Verification at a point in time. |
| Connected Channel | An external account (for example a social platform or business profile) you authorise Narravec to publish to. |
| Tokens and Credits | Units that permit use of certain features. They are a licence to use features, not money. |
| AI Features | Any part of Narravec that uses artificial intelligence to write, analyse, summarise, generate images, or recommend. |
| Generated Content | Text, images, or other material produced by AI Features. |
| Your Content | Anything you upload, enter, or publish through Narravec. |
3. Accounts
- You must be legally able to enter a contract in your country, and at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
- One person or organisation may not operate accounts designed to misrepresent who they are.
4. What Narravec does — and does not do
Narravec provides tools that help you: capture your business story, submit documents for verification, generate a public listing, market your business, and analyse the result. Growth partners can browse listings and ask to be introduced.
We do not:
- guarantee that anyone will contact you, partner with you, buy from you, or fund you;
- give financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice — anything our tools produce is informational and must not be relied on as professional advice;
- act as a broker, agent, adviser, or party to any agreement you reach with another user;
- guarantee any marketing, sales, revenue, or performance outcome.
5. Verification and badges
Where we mark a business as verified, that means a Narravec reviewer checked the documents that business supplied, at that time. It is not a warranty of that business's quality, solvency, conduct, or future performance. Verification can be withdrawn if information turns out to be inaccurate or out of date.
What Verification is
- A review of documents as supplied by the business, against the criteria published in the platform at the time of review.
- A point-in-time check. It says nothing about the business after that date.
- Where a Badge relates to financial figures, a check that the figures presented match the documents supplied — not an audit, not an assurance engagement, and not a valuation.
What Verification is not
- It is not a forensic investigation. We do not detect skilled forgery, and we do not independently confirm documents with issuing authorities unless we say so.
- It is not a credit check, a solvency opinion, a licence check, or a criminal-records check.
- It is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or advice to deal with that business.
- It does not transfer any part of your own due diligence to us. You remain responsible for satisfying yourself before you commit money, time, or reputation.
Badges may be suspended or removed at any time, including where documents expire, where information changes, or where we receive a credible report. We may re-review at any time and may require fresh documents.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your text, images, video, documents and figures. You grant Narravec a licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display that content only so far as needed to operate the platform and provide the features you have asked for (for example, generating your listing, producing marketing material, or publishing on your instruction to a channel you connected).
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must retain something to meet a legal obligation, and except for copies already distributed outside Narravec at your instruction — which we cannot recall.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, and that publishing it will not infringe anyone else's rights.
7. Our intellectual property
Narravec — the platform, its software, interfaces, database structure, analysis methods, scoring and verification frameworks, prompts, documentation, and the arrangement of its content — belongs to the Operator or its licensors. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Narravec as intended, and nothing more.
You must not, except where the law expressly permits it despite this clause:
- copy, reproduce, or republish any part of the platform's interface, code, or design;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive our methods, prompts, or scoring logic;
- extract, scrape, or systematically collect Listings, business data, or any other content, by any automated means;
- use Narravec, or anything obtained from it, to build or train a competing product or a machine-learning model;
- operate, host, or distribute a copy or imitation of the platform, or connect any copy or imitation to our systems.
Trademarks. "Narravec", the Narravec mark, and our logo are ours. You may not use them without written permission, except to refer factually to the platform. You must not use them in a way that suggests we endorse, verify, or are associated with you or your business beyond what a Badge actually states, and you must not use them in a domain name, app name, social handle, or advertising.
Suggestions or feedback you give us may be used freely, without obligation to you.
8. Copyright and takedowns
We respect intellectual property and expect users to do the same. Do not upload or publish anything you do not have the right to use — including photographs, logos, text, music, and fonts.
If you believe something on Narravec infringes your rights, tell us at legal@narravec.com with:
- what the material is and where to find it on Narravec;
- what right you hold and the basis for it;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information you have given is accurate.
We will review it, and may remove or restrict access to the material while we do. We will tell the user who published it, and they may respond. Where a user repeatedly infringes, we will close their account.
9. Reporting fraud, abuse, or a problem
If you believe a business is misrepresenting itself, that a Badge is being misused, or that another user is behaving fraudulently or abusively, report it to report@narravec.com with as much detail as you can.
We investigate credible reports. Depending on what we find we may request further documents, suspend a Badge, stop an account from publishing new advertising, restrict features, or close the account. We are not able to recover money, mediate a commercial dispute between users, or act as an arbitrator — but we will act on what happens on our platform.
Reporting in bad faith, to damage a competitor, is itself a breach of these terms.
10. Accuracy and honesty
Narravec's value depends on truthful information. You agree that the figures, claims and documents you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge. Deliberately false information — including fabricated financials, borrowed photographs, or claims of accreditation you do not hold — is grounds for removal of your listing, loss of verification, suspension, or closure of your account.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use Narravec to:
- publish anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or infringing;
- impersonate another person, business, or Narravec itself;
- harvest, scrape, or bulk-extract other users' data;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or use contact details obtained here for anything other than the introduction they were shared for;
- attempt to break, probe, overload, or circumvent our security or usage limits;
- reverse-engineer the platform or use automated means to access it without our written permission.
12. Interactions between users
When a growth partner asks to engage and a business owner accepts, we pass on the contact details the owner explicitly agreed to share. From that point the conversation is between the two of you. Narravec is not a party to it, does not vet the other side beyond any verification badge shown, and is not responsible for what either of you does. Use ordinary care, and take independent advice before committing to anything.
Contact details shared through an introduction may be used only for that introduction. Adding someone to a mailing list because they engaged with you is a breach of these terms.
13. Artificial intelligence features
Narravec uses AI to help write, analyse, and recommend. You should know:
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You must review anything generated before relying on it or publishing it. You remain responsible for what you publish.
- AI analysis of a business is produced from information that business chose to make available. It is an aid to judgement, never a substitute for due diligence.
- We send the content necessary for the feature to our AI providers to process. We do not permit them to use your content to train their models.
- We may change AI providers or models to keep quality and cost reasonable.
Generated Content and copyright
- As between you and us, you may use Generated Content produced for your business. We make no warranty that Generated Content is original, or that using it does not infringe another party's rights — AI models are trained on large bodies of existing material, and similarity to existing work can occur.
- You are responsible for what you publish, including where the words or images came from an AI Feature. Check anything that resembles an existing brand, slogan, image, or design before using it.
- The legal status of AI-generated material differs between countries, and copyright may not exist in it at all. We make no representation about whether you own it.
- Generated images are produced as backgrounds, patterns, and typographic artwork. Narravec deliberately does not generate images that impersonate photographs of a real product, premises, or person, because such an image is a claim about your business that a customer may rely on.
- You must not use AI Features to produce material that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or that impersonates another business or person.
14. Publishing to third-party channels
If you connect an external account (for example a social platform or business profile) and instruct Narravec to publish on your behalf, you authorise us to act on that instruction using the access you granted. You remain solely responsible for the content published and for complying with that platform's own rules. We cannot guarantee delivery, timing, reach, or that a platform will not remove your content or restrict your account. You can disconnect an account at any time, which stops future publishing but does not remove what has already been posted.
Third-party platforms change without notice
- Connected Channels are operated by others. They may change, restrict, price, suspend, or withdraw their interfaces at any time, with or without notice to us.
- A feature that works today may stop working, or may require you to reconnect. We do not guarantee continued availability of any Connected Channel, and losing one is not a failure of the service or grounds for a refund.
- Each platform has its own terms, advertising rules, and content policies. Publishing through Narravec does not exempt you from them, and we do not review your content for compliance with them.
- If a platform removes your content, restricts, or closes your account, that is a matter between you and that platform.
15. When we process data on your behalf
Most of the time Narravec decides why it holds information, which makes us the controller — that is covered by our Privacy Policy. But some features exist to help you reach your own customers, and there we hold their information on your instruction, not for our own purposes. For those features you are the controller and we are your processor. This section is the agreement that governs it.
When this section applies
- You upload or import a list of your own customers or contacts so Narravec can help you message them.
- You place a Narravec measurement script or tracked link on your own website, so visits and results come back to you.
- Any future feature where you supply personal data about people who are not Narravec users.
It does not apply to your own account information, your business information, or your Listing — for those we are the controller.
The details this agreement covers
| Subject matter | Providing the features above, at your instruction. |
|---|---|
| Duration | For as long as you use those features, plus the deletion period below. |
| Nature and purpose | Storing, organising, sending messages to, and measuring responses from, the people whose data you supply. |
| Type of data | Contact details and interaction records — typically name, email address, phone number, and whether a message or link was opened. Do not upload special-category data (health, race, religion, political opinions, biometric or genetic data, sexual orientation) or children's data. Narravec is not built for it. |
| People affected | Your customers, subscribers, and contacts. |
What we promise
- We act only on your instructions. We process this data to provide the feature and for nothing else. We will not use it for our own purposes, will not sell it, will not add it to any other user's data, and will not use it to train models.
- Confidentiality. Anyone with access is bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Security. We apply the measures described in our Privacy Policy, appropriate to the risk — encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to those who need it, and separation of each account's data.
- Sub-processors. We use the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, under written terms no weaker than these. We will publish changes to that list and give you a reasonable opportunity to object before a new one starts.
- Helping you answer people. If one of your contacts asks for access, correction, or deletion, we will help you respond, and give you the tools to act on it.
- Telling you about incidents. If we become aware of a breach affecting data you supplied, we will tell you without undue delay and give you what you need to meet your own notification duties.
- Deletion or return. When you stop using the feature or close your account, we delete the data you supplied, or return it first if you ask. We keep only what the law requires us to keep.
- Showing our working. On reasonable notice we will give you the information you need to show that we meet these obligations. Where an inspection is genuinely required, we will agree a sensible way to do it that does not put other users' data at risk.
- International transfers. Where data moves outside your country, we rely on the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.
What you promise
- You have a lawful basis for giving us this data, and where consent is required you obtained it — including consent to receive marketing messages, if that is what you are sending.
- You told those people, in your own privacy notice, that their data may be handled by a provider like us.
- You will not upload a purchased list, a scraped list, or anyone who has asked you to stop contacting them.
- You will honour opt-outs promptly, and keep the list accurate.
- Your instructions to us will not require us to break the law. If we believe an instruction does, we will tell you and may decline it.
16. Plans, tokens, credits and payment
Some features consume Tokens or Credits, or require a paid plan. Prices shown in the platform are current prices, not promises — we may change them, and will give reasonable notice of changes affecting an active subscription.
- Tokens and Credits are a licence to use features. They are not money, hold no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
- Credits earned through platform milestones may carry expiry periods and monthly conversion caps, shown at the time.
- Consumed Tokens or Credits are not refundable, including where you are dissatisfied with generated output — the cost was incurred in producing it.
- Exception — our fault. Where Tokens or Credits were consumed because of a demonstrable fault in Narravec (for example you were charged and no output was produced, or you were charged twice for one action), tell us and we will restore them. This is at our reasonable assessment of what happened, based on our records.
- Subscription fees are charged for the period ahead. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and we do not pro-rate part-periods unless the law of your country requires it.
- Taxes are your responsibility where they apply to you. Prices are shown excluding any tax we are required to add.
- Where the law of your country gives you a cancellation or cooling-off right, nothing here removes it.
17. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these terms, a legal requirement to act, a risk to other users, or fraudulent or abusive behaviour. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
18. Availability
We work to keep Narravec available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and some may be withdrawn. We may perform maintenance, and third-party services we depend on may fail.
19. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that: Narravec is provided "as is"; we exclude implied warranties to the extent permitted by law; and we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Narravec in that period, or USD 100.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of other users, or of third-party platforms you connect. In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for:
- any decision you make about a business you found through Narravec, or the outcome of any dealing, agreement, or transaction between users;
- reliance on a Badge, a Verification, an analysis, a score, or any AI output;
- content published to a Connected Channel, or any action a third-party platform takes against your account or content;
- loss of goodwill or reputation, or any claim brought against you by a third party arising from what you chose to publish;
- interruption, delay, or loss caused by a third-party service we depend on, including hosting, AI providers, and platform interfaces.
Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting failure, acts of government, natural events, or the withdrawal of a third-party service we rely on.
Time limit. Any claim relating to Narravec must be brought within twelve months of the event giving rise to it, unless the law of your country provides otherwise.
Indemnity. You will cover us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, from what you publish through a Connected Channel, or from your breach of these terms — except to the extent the claim arises from our own fault.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the platform or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Narravec after that means you accept the updated terms. Each version is dated, and the version you accepted is recorded in your Settings.
21. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, nor of the right to bring proceedings there.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved quickly.
